1. General
1.1 - The online sales contract concluded with Copperworks (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions, which shall prevail over any others proposed by the Buyer.
1.2 - The customer must not place any order without first reading and accepting all the Terms and Conditions, as well as the Liability Policy.
1.3 - The sales contract will only be considered concluded once the order details have been verified and validated. The Company reserves the right to cancel orders and/or close accounts in the event of irregularities.
1.4 - Shipment will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.
1.5 - All products are handmade. As such, they may vary slightly from the published images or descriptions, which are for illustrative purposes only.
2. Responsibility Policy
2.1 - The Company shall not be liable for physical or material damage resulting from improper use of the equipment. This limitation includes cases of negligence or misuse by the purchaser.
2.2 - Copperworks décline toute responsabilité quant à la consommation des produits obtenus par le processus de distillation avec le matériel fourni.
3. Prices and payments
3.1 - All prices are expressed in euros (€), unless otherwise stated.
3.2 - The Company may offer different payment methods and reserves the right to change them or reject payments, in which case the customer will be fully reimbursed.
3.3 - If payment is made by personal check, delivery will only take place once the amount has been confirmed.
3.4 - Products will only be dispatched once the order has been paid for in full.
3.5 - Prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.

In Portugal: 23% (standard);

For stills and alquitars with a capacity of more than 10 liters (considered agricultural equipment), the reduced rate of 13% applies.
VAT exemption:
Companies or entities in the European Union with a valid VAT number in the VIES system are exempt from VAT. In these cases, VAT must be paid by the buyer in the country of destination (“intra-community acquisition”).
4. Delivery
4.1 - Deliveries are made by specialized carriers, with a tracking system and a signature requirement upon receipt.
4.2 - The Company will make every effort to ensure delivery as quickly as possible, according to the option chosen by the customer. In the event of delays or unforeseen circumstances, the customer will be duly informed.
4.3 - Copperworks is not responsible for delays or losses caused by external factors such as strikes, natural disasters, armed conflicts or any circumstances beyond its control. In the event of loss, a formal refund request will be completed on behalf of the customer.
4.4 - For international sales, the Company is not responsible for customs restrictions. If products are returned for this reason, a refund of the purchase price will be processed, excluding transportation costs.
4.5 - Customers from countries outside the European Union are responsible for any customs duties or international taxes applicable to the order. It is recommended that you check with your local customs office before purchasing.
5. Returns
5.1 - The customer may return the products within 14 days of receipt, provided that they are in perfect condition, accompanied by the invoice and indication of the date of purchase.
5.2 - The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
6. Copyright
All the contents of this website are the property of Copperworks and are protected by national and international copyright laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or transmitted without prior written authorization from the Company.
7. Applicable Law
This website is operated by Copperworksin Portugal, and is governed by Portuguese law.
For any dispute, exclusive jurisdiction will be granted to the Portuguese courts.
The Company reserves the right to change the contents of this website and these Terms and Conditions at any time.
